CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
¾ c brown sugar
½ c white sugar
1 c margarine or butter
1 egg
1½ tsp vanilla
2¼ c flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 c chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°
Combine all ingredients and bake at centre of oven for 14 minutes. Immediately remove cookies to rack and allow to cool.
Yield: 22 good size cookies
Notes:
(i) These are my husband’s favourite cookie.
